August 23, the sun goes into Virgo, so we all move from a happy, party time attitude (Leo) into a more serious, backÜtoÜschool mind set with that Virgo thing.

ì Aries: well, itÍs about time but you finally get some relief and some help, and, if nothing else, you will feel like your destiny is being fulfilled. None too soon? The one obstacle right now is the competition, and while the competition might seem tough, you really have nothing to worry about. Just keep both hands on the wheel when youÍre driving. In fact, your sense of style and taste, usually presumed to be in short supply, will actually become better this month. If you were wondering when to shop, this is a good time to buy for your Fall line up.

£ Taurus: the bad news is that you feel like you are facing some challenges that you are not up to facing, sort of like going into battle with only half a suit of armor. On the more upbeat side, these are mere feelings, and hopefully, will pass. Until then, though, try not to overextend yourself „ financially or emotionally „ it could cause some trouble.

È Gemini: whereas last month was the time of the idle Gemini, this month is the time of the busy Gemini as things get ramped back up to speed. The problem, the single, most difficult point with all this positive energy is that you need a little motivation to get off your lazy hind side and do something will all this beneficial time youÍve got „ the rewards are there, you just have to work for them.

Ù Cancer: you know, thereÍs another sport which you might want to look into, just as a consideration: golf. It has all the appeal of big time bass fishing, but golf is somewhat less sedentary. And, given the way youÍve been feeling ever since your birthday, you need to get out more. Besides, what other sport affords you a chance to vent some frustrations by whacking a small and defenseless object „ try the driving range.

å Leo: hot time for the Most Regal of signs: Leo! This is it! ItÍs really your time to shine! Party like there was no tomorrow (because all the good stuff goes away). Yes, itÍs the sad truth, but the ability to be a social animal sort of diminishes towards the end of the month. Sorry about that. In the meantime, enjoy the good company of friends and be the center of attention. As always, Leo, Party On!

¹ Virgo: this is a one great month for all you Virgos with the possible exception of work interrupting what else is going on. You will most likely feel more chatty, gossip prone, talkative, inquisitive, and sociable than usual. Hone up on the conversation skills because you are going to find yourself at the center of everyoneÍs attention, and for a change, you will enjoy it.

Libra: by the end of the month, old man Mars will have just about finished a wide swing through the tropical zodiac sign of Libra. WhatÍs that mean? Renewed energy and action, and, on the flip side of the coin, possible problems with transportation, i.e., car problems. But just about the time Mars is headed out of your sign, look, on the horizon, itÍs Mercury bringing some further excitement! August looks good from beginning to end, for a change.

Scorpio: tough month for this tough sign so just tough it out some. Not everyone is out to get you, but you sure feel that way. Just hold until the fall gets here.

Sagittarius: well the almighty Jupiter is turning around and doing some even more beneficial things to your sign „ as if you need anymore luck. But there you have it: your seemingly indomitable streak of good fortune and fame hit again „ and it looks as if you are going to be doing a bit of traveling. Keep a suitcase packed, either literally or figuratively, because you are bound to be going many places this month.

Capricorn: if youÍve been considering a job change, now is the time to move on it. In fact, now would be a good time to take any career Ü oriented action that youÍve been thinking about. Ponder no more, just get out there and go for it. The planets are ripe (and so is your idea).

Aquarius: this is another one of those times when your aesthetic taste is not, perhaps, at its highest. Be careful around decisions about art and style because your eye might be a little bit off. Not that being a little off would ever bother you and your unique sense of whatever, just that it wouldnÍt be a good time to buy fine art for your domicile. Nope, not right now.

Pisces: IÍve been singing and youÍve been whining all about the terrible hand that life has dealt you with this work thing which has been going on for over a year now. Just brighten up, and if it wasnÍt for the Disney copyright, I would tell you to learn to ñwhistle while you work...î
