"That you have such a February face,
So full of frost, of storm and cloudiness?"

Don Pedro to Benedick in Shakespeare's
Much Ado About Nothing (V.iv.41-2)

February was such a short month -- it only feels fitting to quote Don Pedro's comment about being blue in February. That February face gets an lift soon because Aries starts this month.

Aries - So what if this month starts out on a slightly downbeat note? Spring, and your lovely birthday are right around the corner. Along with spring, Mars is going to sashay his happy self into your sign soon. There will be much rejoicing. See, Mars is like an old friend come home. Means it's a good month.

Taurus - Except for an occasional outburst of compulsive -- but very tastefully so --behavior, this can be a smooth month. Sort of. Mostly. As long as Mars is kicking around in Aries, "things" aren't going to run as smooth for Taurus, at least, not as smooth as they should. Things will smooth over soon enough, so just be patient.

Gemini - I realize that you feel like things just couldn't have gotten off to a more miserable start than the beginning of this month. As they say, "but there you have it." I will predict that the spring Equinox is a really good turning point for you. Look at it like this: it's a lot nicer at the end of the month when everything begins to thaw.

Cancer - sensitive Moon children are going to be none too pleased with the astrology events coming along this month. The only good news is about an old relationship back to visit. That and you know how Mercury plays hardball with your digestion.

Leo - Okay Leo I know you've been slightly obsessed with a romantic question. The answer it yes, emphatically. Now, my fine lion, realize that there is still some work left to do. I can't tell you how grateful the rest of us will be. We all thank you.

Virgo -Some great 20th Century thinker wrote a cute quip about about "brilliant minds facing the stunning and numbing opposition from rather dull people. In this month, you've just to remember that the ignorant masses are going to reach new heights. Don't let them worry you.

Libra - You know it's going to happen -- the half birthday. The problem with your half birthday is that it this is a pretty significant turning point for you. For good or for ill? That decision is best left up to you.

Scorpio -A little idealism is a good thing. Sometimes, pursuing a dream is a good thing. But there's a small catch to this concept of dream pursuit this month. Don't get so far away from reality that you forget to tend to the more mundane matters of existence.

Sagittarius - It's not like this month starts out on a really good note, for most Half-man, Half-horse, it just gets off to a rocky start. But like all cycles, it gets better, and you feel that change happening, even as you reading this.

Capricorn - The first of the month holds much promise. Alas, the last part of the month holds a degree of frustration because Mars and Saturn make a slow and uncomfortable pass at you in late March.

Aquarius - Somewhere in the far reaches of the imaginary world, there is an ideal relationship that has all the criteria you are looking for, love, financial well-being, emotional stability, excitement, all those wonderful things you've been seeking. I can't promise that this will last forever, but it will make for a good month.

Pisces - I've been telling you about times like thee, for a long, long time now. And yes, Dear Special PISCES, it is a good month. Mars moves over to the next sign, but Jupiter establishes a firm foothold in your sign, and don't forget, this is the month of the big stakes poker game. And you should win -- just e careful when bluffing, nothing is better than a bluff backed a by a full house.
