Meditations in an Emergency

It was an image post, at first, part of the endless trickle of material that crosses my attention span, vying for recognition. Meditations in an Emergency was a book title, and it turned out, a slim volume of poetry from 1957.

That was then. This is now.

One glance and the copy went in my carry-on bag, required reading for the next flight.

Turns out, there’s a passage from some TV series where the book, and a quote, are used. Doesn’t make the text any less of a remarkable, slim volume of poetry from a certain era.

Further exploration on the interwebs revealed wasn’t even a quote, just a title.

“I am the least difficult of men. All I want is boundless love.”
