Illuminating Ancient Tarots Sola-Busca
The deck is called “Illuminating Ancient Tarots Sola-Busca” on the box and “I Tarocchi Illuminati Sola-Busca” on the title card. The copyright info: “copyright 1995 Lo Scarabeo.” The deck has printed reading instructions in 5 languages on the fronts & backs of a couple of cards — instead of including a separate booklet. (Five languages also appear on the cards.) There are 78 Tarot cards. The cards are in excellent condition. The box is shelf-worn, dented and has a price sticker on it. The cards themselves are in excellent condition. It’s an engaging deck, to say the least with a fair amount of non-traditional imagery employed in the majors. Or maybe I just don’t understand Italian, which is the deck’s principal language. Seems to be a rare deck and I’ve seen it priced close to a hundred dollars as a collector’s item. This is certainly a deck that is probably out-of=print and pre-US Distributor print run.
