With impending news of floods, terrible rainstorms and much, much more? The news about Hurricane Patricia made me think, pause and reflect.
A favorite place I stayed on the Pacific side of Mexico? Nominally a tourist town, but the part I really recalled, one hotel, it was hard cinder block and brick, with 14 or even 18 foot ceilings and then, the top portion of the wall was an uncovered window. I’m thinking it was like a dollar a night or thereabouts. Possibly thatched roof, don’t hold me to facts.
Storm blows through, the building stands.
One, important item to remember? In Austin? The show must go on.
