It just goes to show that anything said in Latin can sound erudite, which I suppose, is an important goal in life.

Yessir, always wanted to sound like I knew what I was talking about. It’s been “Houston” weather lately, and I noticed the thermometer on a bank building was registering a hundred degrees. With the humidity at about the same point mark, it’s a rough time to spend any amount of time away from the air-conditioning. Too bad, too, because the mornings seem to be rather cool and delightful. I open up the windows, and let the breeze dance amongst the new lace curtains, making the little ruffles ruffled….
