News at 10

I was reflecting back on one my friend’s comments at dinner last night. It was her son who had been with us. I watched as the son made an issue out of something his mother said. Oh, for the energy and nerve of youth again. He was emphatic in making his point, and pretty clearly not correct, but that didn’t stop him. I’m reminded about what Oscar Wilde said (I think), “Youth: pity it’s wasted on the young.”

Made the El Paso paper today, a nice article by Megan Stack — a Pisces reporter. She quoted me about what I say about people who aren’t skeptical, and how those clients scare me. Then the article closes with the fact that even a reader can have a bad hair day, a direct quote from me. Front page of the Sunday paper in El Paso.

And the Channel [something] News at 10. Whoo-hoo.
