Oh now this is irritating – I can’t find it. I have two or three images from empty billboards along various routes. One, for sure, was along the back road – the first paved road behind the coastal dunes.

Another frustrating search that has, so far, turned up empty, there’s this one great image of an empty sign with a partial moon framed in the empty sign’s frame.
The empty signs, what used to be a mark, maybe a marquee, those are for more engaging. Something about a sign that doesn’t say anything.

Cool photo, there’s one near us that is red with a heart cut-out. It used to have photos of newly engaged or married couples in the heart, now it’s just a glimpse of metal bars and the Memphis skyline.
