Signal Strength

What was really cool?

Too bad the picture just didn’t turn out, but the most appealing aspect?

“No signal.”

I love my wired world, and true, up on the hill, in the main cabin, there was thin thread of old and slow Edge Network, but at the main cabin?

“No signal.”

Stuck, three days, family, extended and otherwise. Too cool.

“No signal.”

Look at the map of the US, then far upper left corner. Olympic Peninsula. Friday morning? Canada was just across the Puget Sound, the Straits of San Juan lay before at my feet, and the Cascades were snow-capped behind me.

I’d lament the loss of the image, but seriously, who cares what it looks like, just a cell phone that says, “No signal.”
