Ojo Caliente
Ordered it for my wee Scorpio mum, as she can judge chocolate much better than I. Me. After a soak in the hot, mineral waters, a massage, a meal was in order. Good, good stuff, but the dessert was the crowning achievement.
It’s called a Chocolate Cigar, dessert special at the resort’s little restaurant, and the dish was special.
Dark chocolate gnocchi surrounded by milk chocolate, rolled and fried in phyllo, sort of an egg roll-like item, served with a plump piece of whipped cream, slightly dusted with cinnamon.
Served in a real cigar ash tray.
Just another nice touch from Taos.
chocolate yum!
