TV and Shakespeare Scholarship

Seems there was a series on PBS, check local listings, about Shakespeare. I watched one out of sequences, suitably impressed because the narration is stories about the stories, and then, the opening one, with Ethan Hawke focusing on the Scottish Play.

Wicked.

Wicked good.

He kneels before a first folio edition of the plays.

I think the series’ title is, “Shakespeare Uncovered.”

Just record it, it’s in rotation, I think, about half-dozen episodes, but Ethan Hawke’s take on the Scottish Play was amazing.
