Fishing Nut

Fishing Nut
It’s one of those images, titled, “Fishing Nut,” which, to some, might be an improper term, but never mind that now. It was a pair of fishing poles in the back of a truck, and the poles, I’m guessing, had new line on them. A frequent habit of mine as I fish less often than I used to, so I spend more time paying attention to that stuff that connects me to the fish.

Which also means, I understand what the purpose of the socket on the end of the pole really is for, not a fishing nut. Although, it could be. But it’s not.

Ultimately, that photo-blog is nothing more than a partial creative outlet for myself. Remembrances of things passed, what’s up ahead, and where I am, stuck in the middle. That nut and the nail, on the other pole, those items are just used to keep the line threaded through the poles’ eyes. Not for long, just until they get to the lake.

Just fun and games, mostly just fun, until some gets hurt. Then it’s hilarious.

Minor image tweak on the phone. Just toyed with a little bit, just enough to bring out the details, as best as I could. I was listening to a lecture from iTunes U, about Russian Lit theories at the time. Phone was busy being used for other things besides just taking a picture and manipulating an image.

    “fishing nut”
a straight line, if ever I heard one
so tempting to make a sardonic reply, but no…I’ll leave it to your imagination.
