Make Your Bed

Teaching moment about, clearly, why to Make Your Bed, in simplest terms possible.

I did that. Two years, running. Every day. For five years afterwards, I refused to make my bed, as an act of defiance.

These days?

Yeah, well, I pull the covers up and smooth over the top blanket, make it look nice. Not exactly ship–shape, squared–away, but orderly and consistent. And nice to go back to at the end of the day.

Some would suggest it was an inviting bed.
