More Birthday Cards

It read, “Don’t lose this birthday card,” with the inside message, “no, seriously, it’s all you get.”

My mother was in town for my birthday, and assembling a manger-crèche made me think, according to her, I have divine abilities. According to my sister, myth, and mother attributes many god-like, certainly christ-like qualities to me.

It’s my family. I’ve learned I can’t believe everything they say.

“Oh we never let the truth get in the way of a good story!”

I can’t make this stuff up.
