Granted, I’m no connoisseur when it comes to coffee, but I am an avid consumer? I know what I like, and the first, most obvious, way to test a place that is new to me?

Order an espresso.

Really simple. It’s the basic test, not a fruity, orange foam blueberry white chocolate mocha drizzled with caramel, no, just an espresso. Not worried if there are hints of stone fruit and cocoa, with an elderberry finish, no, not like that all.

Order an espresso.

“For here?”

Yes, please.

Points for cut crystal stemware. More points for warming the glassware on hot summer’s morning, the outdoor setting was fast approaching “broil.” But the stemware was filled with a set of hot water so the espresso stays warm, longer. Marriage. Married? Don’t recall the exact term.

With the creama floating down, it gave the espresso itself a slightly blood-red hue.

I went back for seconds. It was that good. Don’t know anything about other than it has the “Goth” vibe.

Lovely place. Highly recommended. Just ask for a shot oof espresso to drink there.
