Survivor Patch

Survivor Patch

Simple image, says it all, Survivor Patch. Available online, link below. Struck my fancy. Hits me in that sweet spot where it was poignant, offensive, and lucid. Kind of says it all.

There are days, and that’s what we feel like.

That patch is on a buddy’s ammo thing. Bag. I believe bullets came in the container, but now? I use that for a fishing gear. Plainly visible is one of my fishing scarfs, a stretchy tube I tend to wear around my neck, keep it from getting too sunburnt. Also useful as headwear, and hair-tie. Small, folding knife I can operate with one hand, and is disposable, as in, if the knife gets washed overboard, I’m not diving in to save it. Boat camera and phone bag are also in the case.

Just ordinary fishing gear, the support stuff.

Lipstick, got “lipstick” in the bag, too. It’s not really lipstick, but that’s what I call it, Life Guard Approved lip balm with sunscreen.
