TS Eliot

TS Eliot

From TS Eliot’s “Porttrait of a Lady”

Now that liliacs are in bloom
She has bowl of lilacs in her room
And twists one in her fingers while she talks. (II. 1–3)

TS Eliot Libra is claimed by the American schools, as he was born in America, and he’s claimed by the British, because he moved there and made a home, yonder. I can understand that, at least, some of the time.

I was researching a line from other bits of TS Eliot’s poetry, and I happend across those lines. Fits with the moment, or did.

The Waste Land, TS Eliot.
