I suppose that it’s rare

Got out early and headed towards the bookstore to pick up a text which had been ordered for me, but I was too early. I suppose that it’s rare, but I was out long before the 11 AM opening time. I got home and worked on some projects laying about the trailer. Grabbed a paper and looked at it. Dallas Stars, going for a something or other trophy. The Spurs, too, hopefully about to beat some team from New York. Actually, the Spurs stuff fascinated me because the town was characterized as a “blue collar town” that is “50% Hispanic” which sounded dubious to me. But the profiles of the town, especially what the New York based writers were suggesting, was rather tasty. And folks up there wonder why we have such a dim view of the Northeast. San Antonio is a town full of people who got transferred there during a military stint, found that they loved not having to shovel snow in the winter, and stayed on.
