Strange question

“What are you doing this weekend?”

“Working.”

“So you know, that far in advance, when you’re going to be working?”

Near as can tell, I’ve dates reserved for the next year, a couple dozen weekends, already booked. On top of that, there’s a proposed family trip to see The Ring Cycle in Seattle (opera). That’s an event, which eats up a whole week. Yes, it’s possible to plan that far in advance. For work.

Unrelated:
Tasty bit of prose from one of my buddies.

Unrelated lit note:
Heard of shaggy dogs, Shaggy and Scooby-Do, but how about the dead mule? Looks like the dead mule will have to be in the next horoscope. Except, I think I already used it.

Unrelated weather patterns:
One expression, about covers it all, “Yee-haw!”

eBay items part of the weather patterns?

Unrelated design notes:
Most hated advertising techniques. None of which, I might point out, are employed here.

And furthermore:
Jette tapped me to be a reader to help pick the best entries for her Hollidailes. I believe the discussion went something along the lines of me not having any taste therefore, I could be a good judge. What amused me about the ordeal was the great number of folks who complained about writing daily, and how hard that was.

What’s worse, someone like me? Dipped in electronic ink at birth? I can’t not write every day. It’s like breathing, I just do it. Sometimes, profound. Sometimes? Profane. Sometime inane, but occasionally, I even amaze myself. Which is the point. Sift through and see what pops up. It’s like meditation, only there’s the active principle, the keyboard.
