It’s a scam, right? The “donation” gets a sticker that doesn’t mean anything, other than someone spent some dollars that went to a call center that donated a small portion of the profit to a charity. While I strongly support law enforcement officials, my phone number is on a ‘do not call’ list.
Besides, I figure if the officers need money, they’ll just ask for donation at the time of the arrest.
