Nine Fourteen

I was talking to a neighbor, he’s a car freak. Can’t say I’m much of a gear-head these days. The date reminded me of the littlest Porsche. Or Vee-Dub. Sort of depends. It was marketed as Porsche in America, but the more popular 914 with a flat four was sold as a VW in Europe. The 914/6, however, that was sold as a porsche, a small Porsche mid-engine with a six-banger.

Another, “I wonder what happened,” car. I think I wanted one, as much as a historical automotive oddity, and as a fun car to drive. But no room for fishing poles.
