Bexar County Line (redux)

It’s almost “all hallow’s eve” – Samhain – &c. Depends on location and tradition, but basically, it’s the end of the summer season, for real, and the long, dark winter is upon us.

Shopping for Halloween related material, on the south side of San Antonio, in a neighborhood that was, substantially Latin – one more reason to like the south side – I happened across an image that amused my sense of the absurd.

It’s a box of tri-color flags, green, white, orange, with a seal (eagle) in the middle. The flag of the United Federal States of Mexico. The box is plainly marked: Made in USA.
