Did I mention that

My Generation, or Fire Starter?

Comfortably numb?

Topics:
Hurricane or politics? I’m thinking the hurricane is a lot more interesting and more predictable, too.

Storm Riders:
“I’d rather die here than on the road.”

Just makes you proud,

Headlines:
“Rescuers can’t get to people who refused evacuation.”

Occasionally, I’m given to wondering why much of the world has such a poor opinion of hearty Texas stock. Then, I get exposed to national and even international media, and there’s the lone Bubba, “I got me a pick ax and sledge hammer, stashed up in the attic, just in case,” he drawls as waves are lapping at his feet.

Just makes you proud.
