Dreadful, heinous crime

Just an odd road note, I did, I couldn’t resist, well, I was thinking about my friends, and I did it for them. I did this for love. Already mentioned in this week’s mighty Leo horoscope: Xmas Music.

One my way to El Paso, I realized I wouldn’t see my friends out there until after Halloween, T-day, B-day, Xmas and NYE. Means I had to burn an Xmas CD for them. Means I had to listen to the music, again.

Missing:
Know what I really miss? As I travel back forth in the air? Humor. Going through security, I was asked to take off my shirt, over shirt, really, and I had on a t-shirt that I had cut – ripped – the sleeves off – and no way I could I make a “right to bare arms” joke, in as much as the situation demanded it.

Road Food:
Never had it before, maybe not ever. “Lamb Barbacoa,” it was a gordita. Never heard of it before. Tasty.

I indulged in a forbidden pleasure this weekend. Instead of cleaning house and paying bills, I picked up a trashy murder mystery, got an apple and some dried fruit (sugar is bad, bad, bad) and some nuts, sat in my favorite reading chair out on the patio and indulged myself. Yeah, the dog hair is blowin’ in the wind. So friggin what! It felt really good to be useless and self-indulgent for a few hours.

    It’s Monday morning…back to the grind….
