Thanks for the links. Dazzling though the blob was more on the repulsive side, don’t you think? Too bad they left out San Antonio’s. Unusual.
The architecture is called, I may have this wrong but, I think, it’s “Mexican Modern,” which emphasizes bold lines and bright colors. The library, City Nap and the Museo Alameda, all examples, I think, of the influence(s).
I like bold, bright colors and clean lines, but that shade of yellow…my mother used to have an unprintable adjective to describe it. OTOH, I like the library.
