Another Image

It’s so hard to cull out photographs and just try to cherry pick a few. This image is like that. Singular, just some peeling paint. However, there’s more below the surface. In part, there’s the hue and texture, and that’s what attracted me.

However, in depth, it gets even better. That’s the location for a new museum. No, not the building itself, that’s scheduled to be leveled, make way for a new, modern art collection. Which, in retrospect, makes the image even better to me. Always a tale.

Soon enough, that peeling, faded paint will be rubble.

    The same fascination one might have for the shapes made by passing clouds, or the water stains on the ceiling.
