Two things

Lone Ranger:

(Can’t explain that one.)

Small Cars:
My family all drives hybrids. The sum total of my father’s estate, now, is a 2001 Prius. Mother, Sister, extended in-laws and outlaws, all drive “hybrids.” Mostly Prius, with a lone Honda in the mix.

I was party to a Fire Chief talking about fire lanes and such. An off-the-record comment? He drives a big SUV and his wife drives a truck.

“Spent too much time scooping up people who didn’t drive big cars.”

I still thought the smart cars were sexy.

Maybe not so much.

Now playing…a trip down memory lane. Used to listen to The Lone Ranger on radio in the pre-television days. Audio memory. Then a few times on tv, but I was never hooked. Imagination served to create the scenes for me, and I always preferred reading or listening to passive tv viewing.

I can remember sitting on the floor, scrunched up in the space between the bed and the bookcase. listening to The Lone Ranger and Sky King and The Green Hornet and on Saturday the program that had The Teddy Bears’ Picnic as the theme (can’t remember the name of the program just now). Lotsa years ago.

Oh, yes! Big John and Sparky. Ever listen to it?
