I’ve noted this before, the symbolism behind the quest for the image, but it goes one little step deeper, here.
The short version of the tale, I picked it up from some very British comedy, in the absurdist/fantasy school. Turns out the actual tale goes deeper. Which, on some level, should explain why I was so intrigued by the sport.
