We had a lot of luck on Venus
We always had a ball on Mars
Meeting all the groovey people
We’ve rocked the Milky Way so far
We danced around with Borealice
We’re space truckin’ round the the stars
Come on let’s go Space Truckin’

When I was ramping up for the last class in El Paso, I tossed a few songs onto a CD. I was hoping I could get a musical introduction. The first two lines from that song, I thought, music older than me, for sure, but it would set a tone, “We had a luck on Venus/We always had a ball on Mars…”

Unrelated side note: the musical lick in that song originated, according to the guitarist, from the Batman ™ theme.

I’m sensitive to artists’ rights, copyright and so forth, so there’s nothing like that on the video. Be nice, though. They did license the music for an ad. Probably cost a lot more.
