Rugby:
In 1924, or thereabouts, the US took home the Olympic Gold in Rugby. That was the most recent time when Rugby has been an Olympic sport. Apparently, back in 1924, the US beat the pants off the French. Spanked them bad. There was a riot and much name-calling, and now? No rugby. We’ve held the gold since then.
It just goes to show something.
