Mars RX Metaphor:
Symbolism I can’t beat. Nature, on occasion, provides the best analogies.

I was at the edge of the river, the concrete creek, to me, and there’s plethora of wildlife visible. Egrets, great snowy egrets, cattle egrets, herons, sometimes a great blue heron couple, usually the shorter regular heron with the mask and crest. Counted a half dozen of those heron one morning, unless, of course, it was the same one scouting in front of me.
That afternoon? It was a regular heron, I think, with a small water snake in its mouth. I can’t make this stuff up. Like a cartoon, only for real. I think I got a cell phone picture here.
There is no way out. The snake was constricted around the birds beak while the bird had the snake outweighed by a factor of 100 or more.
