What’s in a name?
A noble gas and pop-science.

Advance notice:
The new “astrofish.net” rolls out around January 1. Not the best time to do this, not astrologically, as Mars and Mercury will be backwards. Hopefully, all the bugs will be gone before then.

Winter Weather:
Very funny. Cold front blew through. Not without warning, not unexpected, and not an unexpected turn of events, weather-wise.

What amused me greatly was the reaction to the change. Temperatures plummeted – dropping from a high in the 70’s to a high in the 50’s. Not bad. Blustery, winter weather, it happens, with hints that there might be frozen (solid) precipitation soon.

The efficacy and veracity of local weather prognosticators make me look good.

I slipped on jeans, pulled on boots, long-sleeve t-shirt and heavy wool (actually cotton-poly blend) shirt. Warm enough for running around.

At least two of my neighbors left their respective domiciles in heavy winter coats, woolen scarfs and caps, boots for arctic expeditions. Winter only comes a few days a year in South Texas, have to make the most of it.
