Road Trip

There’s something really sweet, looking down at the smart phone and seeing that, due to atmospheric conditions, the volcano, and just poor cell service, there are no bars.

Pier:
Horace Caldwell.

Bexar County:
The first high water mark, coming up from the soggy coastline, it’s marked by that sign.

Alpha Hotel:
The simplest of Sky Friday images. Resurfaced on the Sky Friday portal. Means nothing. Except, of course, it’s hard evidence that I truly rate tourist shots only. Wasn’t an expensive camera, it was just the best camera at the time.

Best camera is described as the, “Camera available when a picture presents itself.”

Yeah, the reality shift when you reach for your cell phone and realize you’ve left it in the car, or on the kitchen counter at home. “Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose; Nothin’ ain’t worth nothin’ but it’s free”.
