Friday 17.9.2010, 0430. Woke to pouring rain. Unplugged phones and computers. Lightening strikes. Possible power spikes.

“Hot Sheet motel” (Living on island time), woke up with a Texas Parks and Wildlife truck in the room on one side (wildlife management) and a big old SUV on the other side. Single sticker in the middle of the back glass on that SUV: McCain/Palin.

“The atmosphere is also conducive to water spouts and these can occur in even the smallest of showers.”

Between squalls and water spouts, never really got rained on ourselves. Couple of nice reds (and one clown):
