Merry Xmas

One of the recent spate of incoming books about blogs, I found a headline, bullet-point item.

  • Define your blog’s purpose.
  • This blog, the textual experience that lives and loves at kramerwetzel.com doesn’t have a purpose. No focus group. Frequently, no focus, either. Doesn’t matter. Semi-truthful, semi-autobiographical, semi-sweet, semi-dry. Occasionally bitter.

Usually have a nougat center, though.

    Rolled in nuts? Maybe.

There is no purpose. It’s data-dump of my mind and lunatic ravings.

    Experimental & Experiential, that’s all.

“Ya’ll have a merry xmas, now, you hear?”

About the author: Born and raised in a small town in East Texas, Kramer Wetzel spent years honing his craft in a trailer park in South Austin. He hates writing about himself in third person. More at KramerWetzel.com.

Define your blog’s purpose? I wonder what pompous, self-centered idiot wrote that. A blog is a personal journal, whatever’s on your mind, as you say, a data dump rolled in nuts. (heh) I guess some folks have delusions of importance. Most of the rest of us are just making it up as we go along. I know I am, anyway. Seasoned Greetings.
