That ASARCO smoke stack, pity it will be taken down, an ugly reminder to a day when the heavy metal was smoked. San Antonio reveres its past a little better with the upscale Alamo stacks left over at the Quarry.

There is a cold blight upon the land. I’m in El Paso.
