Red Leaf Oak

Texas weather, specifically in Austin, my native “old east Austin,” that is one fickle mistress. The weather. The spring-like weather in early January tricked the old-growth oak. Then the harsh, arctic frost? Turned a few nascent leafs bright red, and it’s not always observed.

The grand Lone Star is bigger than most countries, and that continues with the weather. Cold or warm, a fickle environment. The sprouts are a great ruby! Hoping for consistent warmth soon…

Amazing, I was in Austin last week. Great capture to the red leaves clinging to the tree for all they are worth. Happy RT.
Oh yeah, that’s one fine looking bass you’re holding.
