Desert Tortoise

The image was caught with my phone, intended for the Shadow Shot Sunday theme. Some days are less successful than others. Not that a lack of photographic prowess has ever stopped me from posting a picture, not me.

There was a pair of turtles, inherited from the Feng Shui Institute of El Paso, the home for some of my workshops, and those turtles wound their turtle ways to move to Grace’s place.

Turns out the turtles were not a breeding pair.

A tortoise by any other name would turtle just as well. Feng shui, indeed. Is there anything to it, I wonder. It’s true that one’s nesting place affects/reflects one’s outlook on life and one’s inner landscape….

I like Grace’s Feng Shui, she does the practical, little touches instead of wholesale change. Little things like putting the toilet seat and lid down, keeps money from getting flushed away.

And Bubba’s trophies are no longer hanging over her mantel piece, all the dead animals are in the garage. (Deer heads, turkey fans, mounted fish).

Hmmmmm, too bad about the turtles. But….I FOUND a couple of turtles that were ‘doing their thing’…posted the photo yesterday in my Camera Critters post.
