It’s a totally bizarre, turn-of-the-century, player piano with not one, but two violins. All automated. Plays waltzes. Maybe five feet long and four or five feet tall, perhaps two feet deep, it’s loud and weird. When I was giving tours, one curator would occasionally fire it up for a few moments. Originally from the old Buckhorn Saloon in the Pearl Brewery.

I like Southwest – they were great transporting me and the wheelchair. And the funniest flight attendant does the safest briefing. And a bold blue with perfect ruby trim…the auto-violin seems the thing to have in a beer hall, the weirdness of the sound perfect for the Pearl beer imbibers, they may be long past the time where anything seems normal. Haven’t had Pearl in 30 years, the last time that brand was sold in New England…
