Tweet-tweet

Etiquette question.

What’s too much? Retweet.

When is an author, tweeting his latest page, like, instead of just once, but about every other day for the past week? Is that too much? Read the article, typical web fare, lot of material, but not too much, with a “buy now” at the end.

Wouldn’t be a problem, except that it is recycled, over and over. Different times, and after I clicked through for the third time, I finally dropped following that person.

Perhaps you could explain to me the difference between tweeting and texting? Retweeting is definitely too much; texting a friend or a group of friends is more my style. Though I have to admit I don’t know about tweeting.

Tweet is through twitter and widely serialized … Text is phone to phone.
