Happy Easter

Good Friday led to fishing on Saturday. St. George’s day. Shakespeare’s birthday. On the water at 8, joined by an extra boatload of buddies at the last minute, caught nothing but tourist trout until noon. Rat Reds and black drum, by the boatload.

The pictures are mostly from the phone camera, not the good camera. It had a rough crossing and, “Should have died hereafter,” I think that’s the quote from the Scottish Play.

Good times, lesson learned, details up and coming in the weekly podcast.

That was good fishing.

“Tourist trout” small, just barely over the minimum?

“Tourist Trout” are small, ugly, bottom-feeding catfish with deadly whiskers. Ugly and inedible. Quite resilient, too.
