I developed a fascination with that old building, there are several abandoned gas stations in the “near downtown” area, and that one was the most evocative, to me.

Several years ago, I built a website, dedicated to it. However, bandwidth and price, contrasted against revenue, meant I couldn’t afford to keep it going. Besides, the bulk of the images are in the BearCountyLine.com archives.

Purely a bizarre affliction and obsession with a single, old building and its images. Morning, noon, night. Twilight, magic hour, broad daylight. When flowers are blooming. In the “winter,” in the summer.

I caught an image, destined to roll over much later, but as I was doing the “post-processing” stuff, I noticed an architectural feature I’d never seen before, not in that light.
