Changing Guard

The stewardship of the business in Austin changed in the last year. What is so nice is the new “steward” is part of the family, as in, she’s been around us all — source for stories at one point — for the duration.

As such, it is the oldest and largest continually operating event, having changed hands three times now, and that makes it a bit of an oddity in terms of longevity.

The new management is wonderful. The event feels like has been revitalized.

Shedding light into dark places. Yeah, I like that analogy. Better than shedding fur onto dark clothing.
