New Years Eve in a quiet, quaint fishing town alongside the turbulent Gulf of Mexico, this is the second time I’ve been down for Jan. 1, and I can only hope this is a new tradition. If the weather was just a tad bit more compliant, I’d be fishing.
Instead, I settled for a walk on the beach, barefoot..
Apparently, I shared hotel space with the baptists.

You? Put off fishing by the weather? Must have been a lightning storm/hurricane. Or a snowstorm. I can’t imagine much else would deter you.
