Bad blogging advice?

I’m not sure. Here’s the tip, I post every day here (kramerwetzel.com). As well as a daily picture here. Everything else is sporadic, at best.

The horoscopes are weekly. The post was an ad for the WordPress Theme, Thesis.

Thesis: Focus

That I would highly recommend.

Bad Blogging guy makes it sound like the purpose of writing a blog is to get as many readers and commenters as possible. Say what?? My purpose in blogging is to keep an online journal for myself and a few friends, if they want to read it. No way am I going to leverage social media–or anything else–to get a bunch of yahoos to run their virtual mouths off. Waste of electrons and pixels if you ask me.

That said, I update my online journal mostly daily, if I have something to say. Some days I’m either too busy to write, away from computer access, or have nothing on my mind worth sharing. After all, no one really needs to know that my anxiety level about my retirement paperwork no-show is off the scale. And probably nobody cares anyway. If that’s all that’s on my mind, then I’ll just keep it to myself.

Every once in a great while I’m inspired to do two entries in one day. I don’t see what’s wrong with that. Why be bound by rigid rules? Who, me? I learned from my cat–she marches to whatever drummer she damn well pleases. Or none at all….zzzzzzz…..

you know me, I post almost daily…. but because I want to, not because… oh never mind. I do what the cats tell me to do.

“Mmm, more food and empty the litter box, and now? Go away. Must nap.”
