Vincit Qui Primum Gerit

I discovered that Latin quote as a “proto-blogger,” back in the day. West Texas ways.

The last trip westward netted some observations. It was all Mercury Retrograde in style.

The first had to do with anything in the last ten degrees of Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) with an emphasis on Aries and Libra. Especially Libra.

Poor dears.

It’s mostly Saturn and Saturn is, at times, a cruel task master. Saturn uncovers that which should be addressed. Forcibly, painfully, or gentle and calm. The problem being, Saturn does this gentle at first, like a nudge, then a hip-check, and then a full-frontal attack.

Didn’t listen the first time? Saturn comes around for the smack-down. Alas, it’s usually too late when pinned by Saturn, a little late to say, “I think I’ll change that gracefully.”

The opportunity, sometimes the subtle nuance of the planet symbolism is buried in the hustle of day-to-day existence. Sometimes, the imagery isn’t obvious or clear. I’d like to think that’s where I step in, but that’s up to the individual. I can coax, maybe coach, but decisions are best left to each other.

Saturn is making some points, like punctuation. Usually, it’s a “Full Stop.”

(Full Stop is British English for ‘period.’ EOF to some.)

    Mercury Retrograde:
I find this one of the best Mercury in Retrograde clips. Aged well, my guess.

The other common mistake I kept encountering in the last episodic journey, hugely funny to me, especially in my mind and terminology, but so-very-not-funny to the individuals?

Women who think like young men. Originally, it was a slightly more crude version of the expression. It involves a portion of the anatomy that is missing on females. Same body part? Usually used by males for thinking. Guidance. Mate selection, frequently.

So, to me, to see this occur over and over, the easiest way to graph the cause and results?

Mercury in Retrograde. While that’s not all the cause, it certainly makes for a good time for the problems to pop up. As a Sagittarius, I’m just open enough to call it as I see it, and while it’s not universally welcome, it does seem to be the predominate issue.

There. See what it feels like? I get a small amount of malicious glee from knowing that others, especially women, get to feel like I did, at one time, the clouded judgement, the rampant (hormonal) influences, seething minds and body parts.

“Seething madmen,” sounds like a line I’m familiar with, maybe.

Ah, Kramer, you say it so well. “Seething” forsooth.

BTW, does that translate to “the early bird gets the worm”?

Limited window, I got from a relic of a piston-driven Army Air Corp troop transport wing.
