Austin in the Rain

Austin in the Rain
The original title was, “Austin in the Rain.”

Floral Friday Fotos

It echoes back to a previous observation about the limits of hardware, is it’s a shaky phone capture from along row of flowers, all curled and pointed, along (trendy) West Fifth in Austin.

Old stomping grounds, on more than one level–remember the walk home at 4 in the morning, a light mist falling, the sign over the bathroom, “Do not use facilities while the train is in station?” It was a gag, for house close to the train tracks.

The roses stretched for a block or more, and the food was excellent, if a tad pricey by my current standards.

Haunting bookstores, really, looking for album covers for artwork, but that’s a different quest.

Calling it rain does a disservice to weather. It was more like a heavy mist with an occasional rain drop, but sparse, clouds lowered on our heads, and wow, another Richard III allusion. Much in the news.

Austin again, Round Rock and Sam Bass Road, really, this weekend.

See Pluto Rocks!
(Still should be planet, but what do I know?)
