Interesting point made in the article about who own the rights to the image itself.
I think the “public performance” issue comes up, but I’m unsure of how that plays out in other countries.
So far, I’ve been lucky, as my onerous, ubiquitous, and amusing fineprint covers it all. That, and the “Circle C” (copyright) notice at the bottom of each page.
That’s a little like the toothless tiger, that notice, but I know enough hungry lawyers — feeling lucky punk?
Besides, I do know that my material is unique enough it’s kind of hard to copy and not attribute. Who else would lay claim to it?
