Rough Statistics
The basic numbers, “hits,” as it were, the rough statistics break down something like this, 10K a week for astrofish.net while astrofish.net, BexarCountyLine.com, and this new home, kramerwetzel.com all come in just shy of 2K each.
The three, second tier sites, support sites, combined, they still don’t come up to what the main site does.
What I adore about the new host, Media Temple?
Tools. The “control panel,” merely a software interface overlay, it gives me enough information to troubleshoot issues, correct bottlenecks, and address my concerns while not being too detail-oriented. I can have root access, if need be, but I don’t have to do it that way. From an administrative standpoint, this is far superior.
No, far superior is just running a small site on a server farm, shared hosting.
The rough statistics suggest that this is a doable combination. No more struggles.
My first reaction: I’ve not had Kramer say that before! Satisfaction (can’t get no) not your theme song any more?
Be nice, and I’m happy for now… software/web architecture — new arena for me. Not really, but still.
