Animals – one my most influential album covers.

What’s the strangest part of that image, other than it taking me, literally, thirty years to finally grab it? The album itself, not much of an influence. The band, yes, surely, but the album’s art? Big influence.

Nothing more than the old Battersea station, I guess. The influence, it was eery, riding the train from Gatwick, be my guess, to Victoria Station, again, guessing, there it was, looming above the low-slung fog and spooky English mists. Like a Welsh moor. For a couple of the early years, I had a short video clip from just such a train ride.

Best guess is a decade ago.

I’ve no idea.
